Bespoke mobile ICU ambulances (The VW Crafter & Nissan Interstar) were customised to TAC Pulse ERS’ specifications, to serve as highly specialised mobile units and are equipped and manned to provide specialised care during inter-hospital transfer of critically ill or injured patients.
Critical emergencies can be accessed by our response vehicles (RVs), which are all 4×4 enabled to ensure an unobstructed response to certain, hard to reach geographical locations, and are equipped with the latest technological equipment for immediate dispatch.
Dispatching centres at TAC–Pulse ERS make use of the world’s most advanced call taking and computer-aided platforms. This system combines advanced telematics with real, on-the-ground experience to provide relevant, simple-to-use systems that allow us to maximise the efficiency of our service and to enable our teams to share and report critical information in real-time. This system is designed to make every second count because saving time means saving lives.
Electronic Patient Report Forms (ePRF) have been adopted as part of our commitment to providing the best possible patient care, TAC – Pulse ERS has moved away from hand-written clinical records to this new electronic platform. By electronically capturing patient assessment and interaction information we aim to improve the quality and safety of our services and patients’ experiences – due to the ability to share relevant and timely information with the respective stakeholders.
